Meet Dr. Glenda Crawford
Glenda Crawford, DMD
“The study of dentistry proved to be a perfect career choice for me because I have the ability to combine my artistic nature with my desire to care for the oral health needs of our community. My interest in patients extends far beyond their dental care, however, as each individual who chooses this practice becomes a very special member of our dental family. I want to understand my patients’ goals while educating them on the importance of oral health and overall well-being. I want to give all of my patients the freedom to smile painlessly and with confidence.”
Education and Experience
Dr. Glenda Crawford is from Greenville, SC, and she feels very fortunate to not only be able to buy the practice of her childhood dentist, but also to return to the neighborhood where she grew up. After graduating from Wade Hampton High School, Dr. Glenda headed to the low country where she attended the College of Charleston. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1990. Dr. Glenda is also a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine, Class of 2000, where she and Dr. John met. As they say, the rest is "history". After completion of dental school, Dr. Glenda headed even further south to St. Petersburg, FL, to complete a Fellowship in general dentistry at the University of Florida. Dr. Glenda was awarded Excellence in Prosthodontics, the best-of-the-best award, presented by the faculty of the College of Dental Medicine upon graduation. After completing her fellowship, she returned to the upstate to pursue private practice and married life.

Outside the Office
Dr. Glenda has led quite the busy life since 2001... getting married, starting the practice of her dreams, and having two sons within twelve months. But, she wouldn't change a thing! Outside of the office, her favorite pastime is going on many adventures with Wesley and Thomas, playing with her family dogs, Lucky and Grace, and reading. She is also active in the First Presbyterian Church.
